Our great-grandfather would be proud: Tony joins the team

10/23/2025

A new member is joining our team – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. His name is Tony – and that’s no coincidence. He carries the name of one of the most important figures in our company’s history: Antonín “Tony” Mouka (1880-1964).

The legacy we build on

Antonín Mouka was the man who gave our family tradition a strong foundation. When he took over the family rope-making workshop in 1901, he transformed it from a small craft shop into a modern manufacturing business.

He wasn’t afraid of new technologies – he even developed his own machine for producing webbing straps, capable of weaving up to six straps at once. Thanks to his courage and innovation, the company began to grow and earned a reputation as a reliable webbing manufacturer that customers could trust.

But Antonín was more than just an entrepreneur. He was deeply involved in public life – a rose enthusiast, an amateur actor, musician, athlete, and even the mayor of Tišnov. His energy and hard work helped the company endure difficult times, and his legacy continues to inspire us today.

Antonín today – our virtual guide

That’s exactly why we’ve named our new AI assistant Tony. Just like his great-grandfather, he’s here to help us move forward – this time not in production, but in how we communicate with you, our customers and partners.

  • He speaks 24 languages.

  • He’s ready to help day and night.

  • Don’t hesitate to reach out to him.

Shaping the future together

When Antonín Mouka modernized production more than a century ago, it was a bold step forward. Today, we’re taking a similar step – embracing the world of artificial intelligence while honoring the tradition that has guided us for six generations.

We want Tony to be more than just technology – we want him to be a real helper. That’s why we invite you to try him out, ask him questions, and share your feedback. Together, we can shape a tool that’s as valuable to our company as his famous namesake once was.

So what do you say – will you ask Tony something you’d like to know?
