Trimmings
Trimmings are used, in particular, for edging a wide range of textile products, such as backpacks, bags, harnesses, paragliding seats, wings, parachutes, shoes, clothing, sports nets, flags, horse blankets, etc. However, they may serve for example also for the production of promotional items (key straps with printing), as loops, for fixing trees, etc.
Trimmings are usually very thin and smooth and they have lower breaking strength than regular webbings. They are often made of thinner yarns. As for the weaving construction (its appearance) they are usually plain or twilled (most commonly with one fold in the middle – looking like a tree or an arrow). But for example so called “watch” webbing is multi-layered. Trimmings can be produced from different materials and in various widths and colours, according to the customer's requirements. The basic materials for the production of trimmings include polypropylene, polyester and polyamide.
On stock we have the most popular trimmings made of polypropylene, polyester and polyamide in widths of 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50 mm, mostly in black. The minimum order from the stock is 1 roll of 50 or 100 m. However, we have far more types of trimmings in our product range, which can be produced in the desired width and colour. If you are interested, we will be happy to send you samples and a quote. If you do not find a suitable trimming in our range, we can also develop it for you.
